I am a fourth-year PhD student in Psychology at Princeton University, splitting my time between the Niv lab/Princeton Mental Health Lab and the Logic of Emotion lab. I will soon be on the postdoc/job market!

My research aims to identify socio-cognitive mechanisms of mental health conditions and their treatment. To achieve this, I study people's behavior in both experimental settings and real-world digital environments, using a combination of tools from computational cognitive modeling to large-language models.

Outside research, I am also Project Coordinator at Mental Health for Romania, a leading mental health non-profit in Romania, and an educational content creator on Instagram/TikTok with nearly 400k followers (@danniesbrain).
